Coin dealer over pawn shop all day …I’m a beginner didn’t know much about gold coins and found a few of them ..pawn shop offered me 635 bucks for 1/4 oz of gold a week ago …found another gold coin did research and found a coin dealer ..gave me 968 bucks for the same exact gold coin careful at pawn shops people !!!

Well ffffff my life!! I messed boys, I sold for melt price. I got over melt price but I now see why. and I see why my mom sat on them for 42 years after her dad died. Only half was sold but 22k could have been a lot more..I’m a silver guy he said no “need to check the un opened proofs” well boy was that a lie 😭

I like how people go to a pawn shop and expect to get full retail value for something. That's not how it works

By that he means to be rude to the customer, put the customer on the back foot, pounce on any sign of weakness or desperation or even kindness, make false and insulting statements about the item and make extreme low end wholsale offers and then pretend like you have to think about agreeing to a deal where he knows he just hosed the customer-victim.
