I used to see one of those things in Belmar, NJ.
In 1981 I ate a 1/4 ounce of shrooms at lake arrowhead on a dock across from the island. After I was baking pretty good, one of these cars pulled onto the island. I immediately dove in the water and swam over to the island walked up to the terrified driver (because I looked like a longhaired crazy mountain man like I do now) and touched the tire. I couldn't tell if this was real or not. A memory totally burned into my mind forever. Don't do drugs kids.
I saw one of these cars in the mid-60s in a park next to a lake somewhere around central texas..
The entire extended family was going on a picnic in a park at a lake somewhere around San Antonio or Austin in that general area. The time frame was somewhere between 1965 and maybe 1968.. we parked in the parking lot near the lake at a store and I saw that the car in front of us had two little propellers on the back… It was colored red..
And I pointed it out to my relatives and they all noticed it too..
it's possible that this was the LBJ car because LBJ lived near Austin Texas and this was somewhere in that general area

My great Uncle had a Amphicar but he’s selling it because he’s getting to that age he couldn’t fix it anymore plus it has a lot of engine problems but it’s up for sale I forgot what’s the price that he’s selling it.
