But, when the gun range owner says that simply firing it could cause a “catastrophic malfunction” the guys decide it’s time to bring out their human guinea pig. It's so cool to see something so old working so well. The true pleasure is not so much the money but the privilege of having the opportunity to shoot such a classic piece of history that is still actually operational and knowing that most will never have a chance to experience it for themselves. It's 2026 why does the audio sound like it came from a VHS tape?
The problems with those was they were single shot and cartridge cases would get stuck in the chamber. Soldiers would sometimes have to force the cartridges out with knives.
Chumlee's first shot was still pretty good. The test was to see if the rifle worked, not the skills of Rick, Cory or Chumlee.
