Pawn Stars is the Fakest Show on TV. Here’s The Evidence

For years people believed Pawn Stars was showing real, spontaneous deals happening in a Las Vegas pawn shop. But behind the scenes, nearly every part of the process from the customers to the experts is carefully controlled to make sure they always get the best deal. In this video

  1. Thry didn't con anyone, we all understand it's a TV show and we find it entertaining, it's not that deep, you are pathetic ๐Ÿ˜‚, do you have any update on santa claus, can you try and do a deep dive and try and find out more about this guy

  2. I mean – a show that requires a controlled environment with studio lighting? This is like when people found out James Corbin didnโ€™t always drive the carpool karaoke car – this is just how TV production works

  3. This family went from rags to riches and then from fame to shame. I was a sucker and watched it for at least 3 to 5 seasons but the staging of this series became so transparent it became a bloody joke especially towards the end of each episode.

  4. DON'T talk about "Americans", when it's about USA-ers!!! America is a CONTINENT, with over ONE BILLION Americans, living in 35 sovereign countries, of which the USA is ONLY ONE!!!

ONLY USA-ers have the arrogance to appropriate the names "America" and "American(s)" for themselves exclusively, thus insulting some 800 MILLION other Americans!

  5. I tell you one thing for sure, if I walked in to that shop with my most valuable possessions and there was no cameraman. I would leave immediately. I spend a lot of time worrying over the validity of "reality" TV programmes. Seriously, I do.

  6. I watched the show for the entertainment. I knew it was on the history channel and was a weak attempt to have little history lessons with the illusion of reality TV.

  7. Hell most of us who now and then caught an episode knew it was all orchestrated and a kind of reality show. Fake stuff happens? Oh my goodness โ€œNoโ€! All I can say is Big Deal and who gives Schmutz, it was entertaining.

  8. I saw the formula by the 3rd episode. "I know a guy" interesting that guy was on speed dial and willing to drop everything for absolutely no money. Arriving that very day. It was obvious this was a script. The way no one acknowledged the cameras. Never said I watch you guys all the time. No one ever asked for autographs and made fools of themselves on national TV.

  9. Come on guys. Reality shows = cartoon = fake = entertainment. They didnโ€™t trick us into watching fake tv. When I watch avengers I don't go in thinking its a documentary. When i watch Reality TV you go in knowing its all bullshit

  10. The whole premises of this video is stupid when people aren't being tricked by it. Well a few low-grain lines are but I enjoy watching it just because of the cool items they pull out that are very interesting or tied to some kind of historical thing. Oftentimes it's used as advertising for those items going up on auction sites or from a private seller. I don't care about any of that crap I just like learning about cool little tidbits of history or Americana. It's like the precursor to a top 10s trivia YouTube video.
