A snowboard with hundreds of autographs from unknown athletes couldn't be worth much. It's better to have ONE autograph by a famous athlete than a hunded from unknown ones. Just because you competed in the Olympics doesn't make you a legend.

Hey Rick! USA Olympic champion Tenley Albright was from New England, and she was the first American female skater to win the gold for the USA and she did it in the 1956 Winter Olympics. The woman mentioned she found that jacket in a thrift shop in New England. Since only 57 of them were issued for the Winter Olympic athletes, I think where she found it would be quite significant. I did some checking and found images of Tenley Albright wearing the same jacket, so you may want to start comparing the images with the jacket you have. With movie props we look to identify markings that might help us to identify it as the hero piece. I would use the same techniques on this jacket. Also, Tenley Albright is still alive and may be able to identify this jacket in person albeit she is currently 90 so that might not be that easy. She is currently living in Brookline Massachusetts. Her Gold win in the 1956 winter olympics is quite significant to US Olympic history, and if verified to be Tenley's jacket, it would have a much great value then what was mentioned here by the card shop owner. We have a unique business model that I think you would really appreciate. Nazi Germany actually won the 1936 Olympics, the USA came 2nd. The Germans got 101 medals compared to the USA 57. They won 38 Gold to the USA 24 Gold.
