I am surprised they left out one of the biggest and most fascinating parts of Halo history! It was originally developed as an Apple exclusive Mac game before Microsoft acquired Bungie and turned it into the killer game
that helped launch the original Xbox. Microsoft still honored the original agreement and let Apple get the first game, but none of the sequels after that. Halo's history is way wilder than most people realize, especially considering it originally started as a third-person RTS/shooter hybrid that was shown off by Steve Jobs himself at Macworld.

Guy wants a 115% increase on return on investment in about 5 years on that coin. If you want to have the oxen at 14 million obviously that was the upper ends for what it was going to sell for and even adjusted for inflation it's not that big a difference. And there's a lot of new buyers but they're not buying at that level they're buying at the lower levels.
