That 68 Les Paul is worth more…
Why didn't Rick ask the first guy how he got Stephen Stills' 1941 Gibson for $1200? A recording studio would have known the value of that guitar. That would have raised major red flags for me.
Plugs the $4,k SG into the spider amp lol.
I saw the guy who sold the 1940 J-200 bought it for $46,750 at auction so he did pretty well selling it for $85,000
THINKING A GUITAR value increases dementially since it was played by a fat common player is RIDICULOUS . YOU certainly have the
same on the market or a better one from a luthier between 5 and 10 !
Grandpa was suntanned
The dude with the 69 Les Paul shouda done a rock yell, the last dude got 3 K when the retail recommendation was 3.5K
Some crazy prices
I was playing professionally in the eighth grade. How old are you in the eighth grade?
CSN was super great
11:44 Jesus definitely gained some weight
So I can be cool and fast 😂
Its the old Gibson logo!
What's the deal with the gloves, virtue signaling? Jesse don't use gloves .
Best I can do is 5 bucks 😂
No way that mandolin was real
It's Funny Chum Bought A Fake Gibson Mandolin!
"I'm a guitar collector, I buy and sell guitars for a living and when I want to sell a very old guitar in great condition that was owned by a famous musician, my first reflex is to try to sell it to a pawn shop."
How can you add an extra pickup by accident?
This was the guy who dropped the $50k offer before.
I would love to know what Rick thought about Chumlees Mandolin purchase.
They are all great guitars however how much do you want to pay? 😮 xx.
They’re not bad, they’re just not Fender LOL
What did they call an acoustic guitar before the invention of the electric guitar?
A guitar 🤣
Sister Rosetta Tharpe had a white SG with three gold-plated pickups and a Bigsby tremolo. In the early 1960's
Rick you think you can get more??? Uh Yes A Pawn Shop Who Does Not Have A TV Show YES
If Rick says “sweet” you know you just got destroyed
That “cool” sound clip they always play is beyond annoying
Rick isn't quite correct at the 17:15 point? Clapton definitely wanted a distorted sound, but he achieved it though having his amps at overdrive volume. Think Cream's Disresli Gears, and even with John Mayall's "Beano" album ❤
Jesse is a low baller like Steve
Chum did so well buying that GibSUN mandoline for only 1500 😂
22:45
Seller: This guitar was played at Al Capones birthday party. Do I get more?
Me: He didn't touch it. He didn't sign it. Why? I need to know where's your head at?
Seller: Drugs
Guitars are meant to be played. Not collected.
SG is solid guitar
❤
So many of these beautiful instruments have gone up another 50-100% in value since these segments were produced. I wish I could have bought one!
