The desk is only illegal in California, Illinois, New York and anything north of the Mason Dixon line, including Nevada….. If the desk never leaves the house it is not illegal Rick!!!!!
The ring evaluation is wrong. "BALFOUR" is the company that made the ring and 10k is the gold purity. Whats more, the player to whom it was issued is right there on the side of the ring. That's normal wear, not removal of any identifying info. Wop-wop. FAIL!

I thought the insurance company effectively becomes the owner of items damaged or stolen if they pay out a claim – they should be able to get it back to help compensate themselves for having paid the claim?

This show is such such a farce. Someone bring an unique guitar and suddenly the artist the played shows up. Im waiting for Kurt Covaine to drop in to pick up one of his guitar during a show.
Are you kidding me! My apartment was robbed. They found my stuff at the pawn shop. However the cops said the pawn shop bought it all in good faith and I could not get it back from them. Since some of the stuff was loaned to me by my parents they claimed it on their home insurance. We had the registration numbers of stuff to prove it was ours but the pawn shop gets to keep it.
What about the stolen coin? Now who compensates the insurance company?
