I miss the old man.He was one of the great stars of the show!!
Blows my mind that Sellers dont realize that the buyer has to make money , if you want top $ sell privately , not to a business.
THERE IS NO PAWN SHOP THERE. ITS NOTHING. THE WHOLE SHOW IS A FAKE
I'm still amazed that no-one handling old metal wears cotton gloves. You don't know that fingerprints contain acid?
That Marlin .45/70 is awesome
With what was said about colt walker revolvers, the reason some fellers managed to put too much powder in them and cause the cylinder to explode, was the projectile being used. It was a conical projectile that wasn't the easiest to load in the intended direction, so something that a lot of fellers did was load the bullet in backwards since it was easier to ram into the cylinder. The problem with this is it allows for more space in the cylinder to put in more powder and as-such it increases the pressure, causing an over-pressurized cylinder chamber situation and the high likelihood of a ruptured cylinder.

First, let me say I love your videos . Now some times you donβt give the right info
First Commercial Smokeless Rifle: The Winchester Model 1894 (specifically chambered in .30-30 WCF introduced in 1895) is widely recognized as the first high-velocity, small-bore smokeless powder rifle for the civilian market,
The Marlin Model 1893 was the first Marlin lever-action rifle designed to handle "big" smokeless powder cartridges, with production for smokeless starting in 1895. While introduced in 1893 for black powder, it was quickly updated with "Special Smokeless Steel" barrels and a stronger, side-screwed receiver to handle high-pressure cartridges like the .30-30 Winchester.
I watch to see the historic items I despise pawn shops.
Man this pawn lowballs π€¦π½
These Pawn shop guys scam people out of merchandise. I am sure it is all scripted but they take advantage over these people, low balling them on prices.

The difference between a collector and a dealer. Absolutely correct. Still don't know why this guy is selling to a pawn shop.
This dude is the most annoying person to come into the shop.

Craig is the worst.
There is a story that Geronimo and his band slaughtered a rancher family in Arizona and stole his Marlin 1881. By the time Geronimo surrendered in 1886 the Marlin was gone and he was carrying a US Army trapdoor carbine.
