“Shark Week” is now in its 25th year, and to mark this milestone, Jeff Curr and marine biologist Alison Towner are heading to the California coast, where an unexpected increase of great whites has been observed (Carcharodon carcharias) breaking the surface.
With cinematographer Andy Casagrande, “Air Jaws: Red, White & Breach” aims to capture this behavior in all its glory, and establish why breaching great whites enter American waters.
