  2. I have a few collections of things that are fun for me to collect. Asking $800 K for something doesn't sound enjoyable at all. When you have to have 'experts' evaluate something the fun is gone as it is now a investment that means work.

  3. The First Gentleman seems to be a coin collector/trader. Surely he must have many contacts and connections in the coin world. The fact that he’s selling it in a pawn shop doesn’t make any sense to me.

  4. Everyone keeps saying it’s a $150K Hot Wheel, but there’s actually never been a documented sale that high. The real record is around $70K from years ago — everything above that is just valuation hype. The pink rear-loader VW Beach Bomb is still insanely rare, but the show definitely played up the number for TV. Cool piece of history either way.
