They don't have to x-ray the sealed box. Just weigh the opened box with the contents in it then weigh the sealed box and see if it weighs the same as the opened box. Then get the sealed box x-rayed. OR … just have Superman x-ray it.

I just looked it up on an inflation calculator and the $275 for that shortwave radio would be $2,932.02 today. So yeah. Rick was right. They weren’t cheap.
