"Stan Lee chose gray for the Hulk because…" That is no true. He did not even create the Hulk. Jack Kirby did. Why gray? It was monstrous? Who knows? They changed to green because the printers had some issues with the gray.
Why do people insist on coming into a pawn shop , who specializes in brokering deals . And expect to receive retail value for the items they seek to broker. If they want retail , simply take the time and energy to broker your own deal. Otherwise do not expect to get retail value for your items . Bottom line.
For perspective, a private person is loaning first Spider-man book for display to the good comic book store in my hometown. It is a CGC 7.0 and in the past when the owner has put it for sale he wanted $30,000. No takers.
Amazing Fantasy 15 is worth 50K.
