@16:24 – Dude, thous watches cost $2k-$6k lol, I would pay much more than $150 for it lol
I would swap it straight for a Rolex
That HP Calculator watch goes for 5k+. Dude got hosed.
Vacheron Constantin: Operating as the world’s oldest continuously running watch brand, their mid-1800s pocket watches were symbols of aristocratic The brand name of a pocket watch that is the coldest holding trade mark is Longines .😊😮
Rick keeps laying down this completely false statement about only American watch are quality and people won't. Spend money on a European watch، In the mid to late 1800s This is a false statement and he knows this because he says every time someone comes in the a Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin , Breguet etc again all lies. And con jobs .😮
That Tiffany watch today in gold alone would be 15 thousand
Why does Corey constantly demean his father. He is such a killjoy. I was always brought up to Honor your father and mother" is the fifth of the Ten Commandments, instructing children to respect, obey, and care for their parents. It is the first commandment with a specific promise: "that it may go well with you and that you may live long. He shows his father so much disrespect. no wonder his life is what it is.
Rick been using that scam line about pocket watches from Europe are not worth anything every time and he steals the each threw a con Job 😅😮. Congress didn't pas a law only concerning the oragin of a watch . They passed laws on makers needing to put there stamp on things like cameras telescopes and basically anything imported. Another even more of a complete fabrication of facts. He is in inventing data or misrepresentation of facts. 😮.
Calling pawnshops low-ballers is beyond stupidity cause you always have a choice to spend the time and look for the right buyer and get top dolla
Keep in mind that you get money right away and cut that time when you get a deal with them
Corey: “people want new stuff. They don’t like old stuff”
Rick: “people only want old stuff, they don’t want new stuff”
What a jackass. “Not gonna happen” is his favorite insult.
Dude wanted an $1000 for a calculator watch
Alfred Dunhill wasn't a tobacco farmer, he opened a tobacco shop.
Imagine selling for a 100 bucks your familys legacy
We don't have wild boars here in the U.S.? Just about 40 states have them. Rick does not hunt for sure. lol
I have the Olympics Budweiser stein behind Rick
Why buy a super expensive Breitling watch for its bacon feature when you can just buy a much cheaper and limitless range EPIRB or PLB? It looks cool, though.
The Rip Off Pawn Shop Out In The Middle Of Nowhere, Stealing The Tumbleweeds
I hate Cory. He's the biggest lowballer I've ever seen
The first wrist watch was invented by Cartier
RIP to the guy who sold all that gold in the pocket watch
Not going to happen
has anyone noticed that these sleeze balls are trying to screw everyone…despicable family.
All of us kids had led pocket calculators in 1977 and they cost about $10.
$1,000 bucks for an Audemars Piguet pocket watch? Have y'all seen what those watches cost? It's the value of a house. He could probably send it to an auction.
He got shafted on that Tiffany watch
after beating their customers, no eye contact with the handshake
rick makes a living off of disappointing people at his counter and its done him well!
That AP pocket watch is much more valuable than USD 1000
J’aime la simplicité de ton explication.
15:03 – HP Watch. I worked for HP for 25 years. I've never seen one of these watches.
While HP eventually became a computer company (not so much today) back then the backbone of the company was electronic instruments. In 1990, 90% of sales was computer products, and 90% of profits was electronic instruments.
For the longest time HP was an electronic instrument company. For example, Walt Disney was their first customer for the HP-101A audio oscillator around 1938. Its claim to fame was ABSOLUTE FREQUENCY STABILITY – something radically new.
Keysight Technologies, the current face of the original HP instrument business, now sells oscilloscopes for north of a half million dollars. These do everthing but stand up and bark.
Keysight sells about a THOUSAND other electronic instruments used in the design and production of all manner of electronic and mechanical devices.
My HP 45 calculator that cost $399 in summer 1973 was so spectacular that it gave me a decided advantage for about 12 months over my peers at Purdue University (others were still using slide rules.) Perhaps a letter grade advantage across the board for that school year.
…
Rick: "I'm taking all the risk here. I'll give you a $42 gift card for Olive Garden, a $20 Uber credit and you can feel up my 4th wife for 10 seconds".
If the first guy wanted a Rolex, why not trade it for a 5 grand Rolex right then and there. He would get a 5 grand watch and it would cost Rick under 4 grand since he probably got the Rolex for 3
Corey was NOT having that pigeon clock. 🤣
The old guy with the 1926 Dunhill watch lighter sounds like he’s from South Louisiana
Watch is worth over 3,000. The 1772.
Rick let that annoying smokers laugh go within the first 10 seconds… 🤮
I cannot believe Cory only offered 1k for that Audemars Piguet pocket watch. I just did a search and they are being sold for more than 10k.
